INTERIM MINISTER
Jerrie Barber

Jerrie grew up in Centerville, Tennessee. He was baptized in 1957. His home congregation was the Shipps Bend Church of Christ, in Centerville.

Jerrie went to Freed-Hardeman College and received his B.A. in Bible from David Lipscomb College. He has been preaching since 1961. Jerrie and Gail started interim ministry in May, 2007. Northside is the 6th congregation where they have worked in this capacity.

Jerrie and Gail have 2 children, Jerrie Wayne Barber, II and Terri, and Christi and Brian Parsons, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jerrie is a ventriloquist, enjoys running barefoot and writing two blogs:

YOUTH MINISTER
Nathan Foster

Nathan was born in Murray, Kentucky and was raised in Paris, Tennessee where he graduated from Henry County High School in 2012. He attended college at Freed-Hardeman University and graduated with a degree in public relations.

Nathan has been happily married to his wife Chelsea since August of 2014. She also graduated from FHU with a degree in Marketing as well as a Masters in Business Administration. She is an incredibly loving and supportive individual.

Nathan loves what he does and is passionate about working with young people. He started at Shady Acres in the summer of 2017 and has three years of experience prior to that where he served as a pulpit and youth minister at the Miller’s Chapel Church of Christ.
